Edward Spencer couldn’t help but smile when he saw his grandson intrigued.
"Grandpa! Are you sure she is talented?" Sean felt delighted when he saw his grandfather nod. "Wow! Fantastic! I have to recruit her to join my team. We are short of snipers at the moment. Please let me meet her...."
Edward Spencer sighed deeply before answering his grandson, "Sorry for saying this, but you can’t recruit her. She’s not interested in joining the army."
Sean was disappointed when he heard that, but he will try to pursue her.
"Grandpa, can you give me her name? Let me call her first. I will try to talk to her. I also want to know how capable she is...." Sean was curious to hear that a young woman could match his shooting talent.
If someone else said it, he wouldn’t believe it. But this must be accurate because his grandpa said to him. Unless this old man is playing a prank on him.
"Brat! I told you before, she’s better than you..."
Sean was taken aback. He still couldn’t believe what he heard. Once again, she tried to read his expression; was he telling the truth or just trying to prank him?
After staring at his grandfather for a while, Sean felt his body stiffen.
He glanced at Uncle Jimmy beside his grandfather. He wanted to ask him, but he found the answer when he saw his expression was the same as his grandfather’s.
As if something had triggered him, he immediately became alert.
