Chapter 200: Skillful Husband
Oscar was curious to meet Lady Boss in person. Hearsay, the lady boss, is really pretty, like a goddess. He believes it because, as he knows, Boss Evan was never interested in women as long as he had known him a few years ago. His Boss is icy with women and always keeps his distance.
"You can’t meet her now. She was asleep!"
"What? Too early??" Oscar immediately smiled, realizing he had come at the wrong time. When the Boss should cuddle with his wife. They are newlyweds, after all.
"This is midnight in Astington. She was still in jetlag...." Evan cleared his throat.
What an excuse. His wife was asleep because he had just emptied all her energy. His poor wife now restores her power with a good nap.
"Ah! Alright, understand." Oscar silently chuckled. Then, he took out something from his pocket, "Boss, this is the card and the bank book you asked me for...."
Evan looked at the brown envelope on the table. He took it and peeked inside. Evan saw a black Swiss Bank card that Oscar had prepared for Rose as his instruction. He also instructs Oscar to open a new bank account for her. After taking the envelope, Evan stood from his chair. Before he entered the house, he said,
"You can go now. Come back here tomorrow, and bring Lucas with you. I have something to talk about for both of you." Evan walked inside.
It looks like they need room services tonight because they won’t be able to leave the room until tomorrow.
