Chapter 139: Dinner (1)
Beachside Restaurant.
Rose is surprised to learn that Evan took her to a seafood restaurant by the sea and asked her to wear formal clothes. She thought they were going to a fancy restaurant in a hotel or downtown. Luckily she was wearing her casual dress, not a dress that would attract many people to see her.
The vibes of the restaurant that night were quite lively. Many young people were having dinner with their partners and friends.
They didn’t stop to sit in the hall like most people. Evan brings Rose to the second floor.
On the second floor, there is no table like on the first floor, but many doors facing each other like walking in a hotel corridor. They walk deeper thru the red carpet.
Later, Evan stopped right before door #222. But before Evan opened the door, Rose felt the need to go to the powder room.
"Evan, I’m going to the powder room first..." Rose looked around. She felt weird, she didn’t see any powder room on this floor, and it seemed she had to go back downstairs. It felt troublesome, but she had to go, or she would be uncomfortable during their dinner.
"There’s a powder room inside...." Evan said as he opened the door. Rose immediately followed and headed straight to the powder room without realizing that other people were beside them in the VIP room.
After seeing Rose closing the powder room door, Evan looked at the long dining table in the middle of the room. He saw a tall man with tan skin standing looking at him with his curious gaze.
