Chapter 67: I Know You Better Than You Think
"Rose, are you fucking serious?! For Real??" His mouth gasped in surprise. He stood from his seat while narrowing his eyes and looking at her.
"Can you stop cursing me? Gosh, Oliver... Why are you overreacting?" Rose laughs looking at Oliver’s expression.
Oliver cleared his throat loudly and then sat back in his chair. He thought Rose was playing a prank on him right now. But, because she looked so calm, he started to believe that she was earnest.
"Well, Rose, how could I become your CEO? You know what I’m interested in, right? I’m only interested in programming and anything related to technology. I never intended to be the CEO of a big company... let alone help you build a new company? I may ruin your company and lose your money in no time..." He rubs his chilly nape. He is imagining how troublesome working for a new company is.
Rose was speechless hearing his refusal. This man really underestimated his ability. She could only shake her head slightly.
"You better find someone experienced and more mature than me." Oliver continued. "Rose, If I make you bankrupt, our friendship will end... I can’t imagine that happening. Better yet, I refuse your offer now." However, if Rose asks him to become CEO at Flash, he will join her right away. But not for the CEO of Wilson Group.
"Gosh, Oliver! Have you forgotten your abilities? You are the best that crossed my mind who could be the CEO of the Wilson Group." She looked him in the eyes. "You know how to manage a company, you understand the law, and the most important thing is...." Rose asks Oliver to come closer to her. Then she calmly continued, "You are the number one hacker in this country. No, in this continent. I guess. So, in my opinion, you are like a God who can rule the business world in this country...."
Oliver’s mouth twitched. His face turned ashen as he heard what she said.
"How did she know I was a hacker? No one knows my other identity..." He said to himself.
