Chapter 52: I Love You
Rose stands behind the door, motionless. She tries to calm her raging heart after Evan kisses her lips. It wasn’t the first time Rose felt this way, every time he kissed her, it felt like there was a parade marching band inside her chest. The wave she felt was so great. It feels fun and makes her adrenaline rise to the top.
She buried her face in her palms and ran into the bathroom.
When she saw her face in the mirror, she was shocked.
"Did I fall in love with him? This fast?" It seemed that she still could not admit that the seeds of love had started to blossom deep down in her heart.
Too scared to see her blushing face getting redder, she immediately splashes her face with cold water.
After changing her clothes with her blue, pale silk short pajama, she took a blanket and pillow for Evan. However, she was surprised when she came out. The living room was already dark, and she saw Evan’s body sleeping on the sofa.
Is he asleep?
Worried Evan would wake up, she tiptoed to the sofa. She leaned over and whispered his name. But it seemed that Evan was fast asleep. He didn’t respond at all.
Slowly she covered Evan’s body with the blanket. She wanted to place the pillow but was worried that Evan would wake up. Then her eyes landed on his calm face. Without her knowing, she sat down at the table near the sofa. For a moment, she spoiled her eyes, admiring his good looks.
