"Evan! Once again, I’m really thankful for your help..." Rose lowered her head to avoid Evan’s eyes.
Somehow she felt ashamed of herself. Shame for not being honest with Evan. She should have told him before she met Dustin, but instead, she kept it for herself and went to see that asshole alone.
"Please don’t thank me anymore... It’s my job to protect you. But, I hope there won’t be another incident like this, Rose." He can’t blame her. "And, please consider, you have rare blood... Did you know your blood is rare?"
"Hmm... I know."
"Thank God we have the same blood, so I can give you mine when you need it...." If only there were no AB negative blood stocks, Evan couldn’t imagine what would have happened to her.
Rose was surprised to hear Evan’s words.
"Y-You also AB negative?"
"Yes! You’ve lost a lot of blood and transfused several blood bags."
Rose could only take a deep sigh. While thanking him in her heart.
"Evan, what about my Mother?" Rose suddenly remembers her mother. She glanced at the wall, looking stunned. "We have to go home now. My mother will be looking for me..." Before leaving earlier, she had said she would have dinner at home because Evan promised to come to pick her up. Now, her mother must be waiting for her, right?
"This is 7 AM!"
