Chapter 130: Don’t Say Something You Will Regret
Lin Yan arrived at Sun Villa in the night and immediately saw Li Lingyun sleeping on the couch. Why did he wait up for her? She had already sent him a message that she was at Lin An and might come back late. She walked towards him and knelt on the floor, seeing him right there put a sense of ease in her heart, a feeling that he would always be here but she wondered how he will react if she were to tell him that not only does she have a father but also that man was a murderer, a Mafia leader who deals with guns and drugs. If it was before, she would have been glad, that such powerful man was her father but now, she is the wife of Li Lingyun, she is related to the president of this country and as a result of that she can’t afford to tie herself with a drug dealer. And that is why she must find a way to end that man delusion of being close to her.
"Aah!" Lin Yan screamed softly when she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her belly.
Li Lingyun immediately opened his eyes and saw Lin Yan kneeling on the floor with a hand on her belly. He got up from the couch and said with worry in his voice "What’s wrong? Does your belly hurt? Should we go to the hospital?"
Lin Yan shook her head and as she took in a deep breath "I’m fine, it was just a brief pain, nothing serious."
Li Lingyun frowned at her words and asked "Nothing serious? You were feeling pain a moment ago and why are you kneeling on the floor?"
Lin Yan pouted her lips and got up from the floor with Li Lingyun help. "I was just watching you sleep, I didn’t want to disturb you."
After making her sit on the couch, he said "Stay here, I will get you a glass of water."
Lin Yan watched as Li Lingyun went to the kitchen and placed her hand on her belly, she wondered if the reason for the pain was because she was overthinking. Just then Li Lingyun came back to the living room with a glass of water and said "Have this."
She collected the water and drank everything before returning the glass to him and said "I’m fine now."
"I’ve sent the doctor a message, he has arranged an appointment for us tomorrow morning." Li Lingyun said as he placed the glass on the center table.
Lin Yan looked at Li Lingyun stern face and said "You sound angry."
