Chapter 127: Li Xiao Insecurities.
"Li Xiao." Lin Yan called out with a smile when Li Xiao came out of the school gate but frowned when the little girl did not run to her as usual. Li Xiao just walked to the back of the car and closed the door without even glancing at her mother once.
Lin Yan wondered if something happened at school. She helped Li Xiao to put on her seat belt and when she entered the car, she asked "How was your day? Did anything happened at school?"
Li Xiao looked at her mom and was about to say something but just shook her head and closed her eyes. Lin Yan knew she was just pretending to sleep but decided to drop the topic.
When Lin Yan arrived in Sun Villa, Li Xiao immediately went up to her room. Lin Yan sighed and went to Li Lingyun study, she knocked on the door and entered when she heard a ’come in.’
Lin Yan entered and saw Li Lingyun making a video call. She sat on the couch and waited for him to finish and when he was done she heard him asking "Why the long face?"
Lin Yan looked at Li Lingyun and said "It’s Li Xiao. She has been behaving strangely ever since I picked her up from school."
"Strangely? How?"
"She haven’t spoken a word to me, not even once and immediately we got to the house she went to her room. It’s as if she is avoiding me. Li Lingyun what if she has been brain wash by Shen Yi when we weren’t paying attention to her."
Li Lingyun stood up from his chair and walked towards Lin Yan, he bend down to her level and held her hand as he said "I always pay attention to Li Xiao and I can confidently tell you that Shen Yi has not come close to our daughter since then."
"Then why didn’t she even talk to me."
"Perhaps she got into a fight in school, I will talk to her." Li Lingyun said.
