Chapter 119: You Have Six Months.
It’s been a week since Wang Hua was admitted to the mental hospital and Min Yu who has been in the hospital since that incident was finally going to be discharged. Though the acid didn’t touch her face but it burnt her neck and the doctor has reassure her that with surgery she would be as good as normal but for some reason, Min Yu has refused to get surgery.
"Why won’t you have the surgery mom?" Min Xue asked in anger as he watched his mother packed all of her stuff from the hospital.
Min Yu sighed and said "I’ve told you this before, this scar needs to be here for your father to feel guilty and to give us our right."
"But do you need to destroy yourself for that to happen, Wang Hua is already locked up in a mental asylum, she has paid for what she did to you."
"And you think that’s enough? the Li family practically threatened me not to charge her for attempted murder. Don’t you see, they still have her back and within a month or year I’m sure they will get her out of there and where does that leave you and me."
"But we have dad with us, he wouldn’t abandoned us. He loves you." Min Xue said in conviction.
Min Yu shook her head and said "How much power do you think your dad owes in the Li family. The Li family has one true ruler and that is Li Lingyun, your dad is barely recognize as a son there."
"Then what should we do?" Min Xue asked more silently.
Min Yu smiled and held her son hands as she said "We must first make you a Li and not just in name but in papers as well, only then can you get your right."
"But how do we that? The old man might never accept me and Li Lingyun hates me and I think visiting him at his company was a bad idea."
Min Yu frowned as she looked at her son and asked "You did what? Why did you make such a stupid decision?"
