Chapter 94: A Way To Make It Right.
Li Lingyun and Lin Yan arrived at the Meng mansion and even at the doorstep they could hear shouts coming from the house.
When they entered inside the house, the scene they saw was the matriarch using her stick to beat Meng Ziyi and Wei Si trying to protect her by covering her with her body.
Li Lingyun sighed and said "Stop it grandma."
Meng Wu turned to the voice and said "How dare you tell me what to do?"
So this was the matriarch of the Meng family? A woman who didn’t lose her power even at an old age. Lin Yan looked at Yao Qi who was standing silently, she was wondering where Meng Zhu was when she heard Li Lingyun voice saying "I’m not telling you what to do, what I’m saying is that beating her won’t solve anything."
Meng Zhu scoffed and pointed her stick to Wei Si "Your daughter became this way because of you, all you did was spoil her, if you couldn’t be a good wife, couldn’t you at least be a good mother!" She was about to use her stick to hit Wei Si when Meng Zhu held it.
"I’ve told you not to speak to mum that way."
Meng Wu anger increased when she saw Meng Zhu supporting his mother and said "You are supporting her? Fine go ahead and support her but for you to do that I will no longer be your grandmother."
Lin Yan looked at Meng Wu and came to the conclusion that the woman was a dramatic one.
"He is not supporting anyone, getting angry over this won’t change anything. The fact will still be that Ziyi is pregnant." Li Lingyun said.
Meng Wu looked at Meng Ziyi who was hiding behind her mother and said "You better get rid of it."
