Chapter 75 - One Of A New Book (Twins)
Liliana sat on the couch listening to music on her phone when her mother asked "Where is your sister?"
Normally she and her twin sister Amelia are always together, but lately Amelia has being distant and no one could actually blame her, everyone thought, she must still be heartbroken and need some space.
Ever since Amelia boyfriend Damien took over his father’s company a year ago, he has cancelled so many dates with her and this has made her sister to be very distant with everyone.
Liliana sigh as she thought of how long it has been since she had a girl’s night with her sister, she looked at her mother and reply "I don’t know where she is. You know she no longer tells me everything."
Their mother Katherine sighed and said "I know you miss your sister, but give her some time, She needs to understand that Damien is the CEO of a multi-billion company. If she wants to be his wife, then she has to stop sulking and learn to stand beside him instead. And besides let’s be honest with ourselves, if Damien had not worked hard when his father retired then the Walton Corporation wouldn’t be a multi-billion corporation and she should be grateful."
Liliana scoffed and wanted to reply, when she got a text from her own boyfriend. She frowned and ignored the text.
Katherine could see her daughter frown, without asking she knew the reason behind that frown, so she asked "Does he want money again?"
Liliana looked at her mother and put on a defence as she said "You say it as if the only thing he does is asked of money from me."
"No, that’s not what I meant, if the relationship is not working out, you can call it off, after all there are many men out there who will love and cherish you."
Liliana got angry at her mother’s words and said "You should care more about your daughter, rather than interfering in my relationship. William loves me and he cherish me."
Liliana got up from the couch and was about to leave when she stopped and said "And for your information, he didn’t ask for money, he asked me on a date. Just because William isn’t rich like Damien Walton, doesn’t give you the right to look down on him"
