That morning Li Lingyun received a call from Zhou Xi and asked "Have you decided?"
"I will take your offer but on one condition."
Li Lingyun raised his brow and asked "There is a condition? What part of ’you don’t really have a choice’ didn’t you get? But anyway tell me, if it is a reasonable one then I will accept it."
"I want you to support my movie career for just a year. It isn’t hard is it?"
"No, it isn’t but why would I do that? I already gave you the lead role for your current movie and to be honest I want nothing more to do with you. However, I will do whatever I can to make your movie a success and that is all I can do for you Miss Zhou Xi."
Zhou Xi was quiet for a brief moment before saying "Fine. I accept your offer. But I do not want to see Meng Ziyi at the set again."
"I told you, Ziyi is taking a break so you don’t have to worry." Li Lingyun said and ended the call.
He then sent a message to Meng Zhu saying ’I have taken care of her.’ and just then he heard a knock on the door and after telling the person to come, Li Lingyun raised his eyebrow when he saw Shen Yi coming in holding a tray with coffee and a plate of cookies on it.
