Chapter 37: Becoming More Human.
Li Lingyun arrived at the hospital and saw Shen Yi sleeping beside Li Xiao. He removed his jacket and placed it on her. He stepped out of the room when his phone rang and when he answered the call, the
first thing he heard was "Why didn’t you tell me sooner than something happened to my baby Xiao."
Li Lingyun sighed and said "She is fine, you don’t have to worry."
"What do you mean by I don’t have to worry. And this have to happen when I am out of the country. You know what, I am flying back right now."
Li Lingyun rolled his eyes at Si Yan antics and said "She was fed with sleeping medicine and the doctor said she would be asleep till tomorrow."
"Are you alright?" Si Yan suddenly asked.
Li Lingyun rested his back on the wall and said "I was scared. When Shen Yi called me and said Li Xiao was missing, I literally felt my heart had stopped beating."
"I’m happy you are becoming more human." Si Yan teased.
Li Lingyun scoffed and said "I am sure, I’m more human than you."
"What did you do to the people responsible for Li Xiao condition?"
Li Lingyun checked the time in his watch and said "By this time, the homeroom teacher should have been injected with her first dosage of drug."
