After lunch, I excused myself and headed to my room.
I pretended to lie down for a nap, but the moment the door was shut, I activated Shadow Assimilation and slipped into the floor.
A second later, I was part of the shadows.
Security in the mansion wasn’t tight inside the rooms.
The guards patrolled the hallways and outer perimeter, but no one was going to be checking if I was asleep.
That gave me a perfect window.
I moved through the shadows, phasing from one surface to another, and finally entered my parents’ room.
’They might talk about moving houses while being alone.’
’I need to know why are we going to Daelthorn’s estate.’
I going to eavesdrop on my parents by hiding in shadows.
Since using Shadow Class abilities used mental energy, I was confident no one could detect me unless the person was a Psychic, or a high-rank supernatural.
