Chapter 31: There’s No Need for This Shop to Exist
Yvonne Taylor’s credit card was blocked.
She was now like a tiger whose teeth had been pulled out. But she knew that it must have been caused by Sarah Mooney’s pernicious advice. Because in the morning that day, Sarah was bragging in front of her, showing off her newly bought jewelry bag and the latest iPad.
Yvonne didn’t feel good about it. It seemed that Sarah was the noble and gorgeous empress, and she was Cinderella who had been abandoned by her father.
It was uncomfortable to stay at home, so Yvonne carried her schoolbag and went to the mall early.
She used to spend most of her money here, but with her current balance, she basically couldn’t afford anything.
Yvonne found a dessert shop and sat down.
She took out a book and was ready to review for the upcoming mid-term exam.
She had been busy dealing with Zoila Mooney and Sarah, and the school club had taken up a lot of time for her. In addition to the period when she was preparing for the academic competition, she had not put much effort into learning in the past few years. It was certainly impossible for her to go on like this.
