Chapter 26: Zachary Leinster Began to Doubt Yvonne’s Identity
The middle-aged man was so fat that his black suit was almost like a raincoat, but he didn’t give up and wanted to have a try at Eva Loraine.
His voice was loud, which attracted many people around.
The whole band stopped except for Eva. The girl kept playing the cello as if she didn’t hear what that person said.
"Hey, I’m talking to you. Didn’t you hear me?"
The manager of the banquet hall hurried up and whispered a few words in Eva’s ear.
Eva stopped, and her face, which looked like an ink painting, was very cold.
"Manager, I am just a musician you invited, not your employee. You are not qualified to order me to do things beyond work."
Feeling a little embarrassed, the manager said, "Mr. Wang just asked you to have a few drinks, not to force you. Just have a drink and I’ll double your salary today."
Eva did not move.
"Three times."
Eva remained silence.
