Chapter 108: I Miss You
Back in the present, Victoria has been absent from Matthias’s life for several days, remembering all the sweet memories she and Matthias had created together in the past. She has been on adventures in several places she often visited in the past, including theme parks. She has even moved to different hotels several times, closer to their date destinations. Every time she passes Matthias’s old house, she cries with joy because thanks to that house, her relationship with Matthias has grown stronger, leading Matthias to move into their current house.
Until now, Victoria still hadn’t realized her husband was secretly following her. All she knew was that everyone was trying to contact her because they were so worried about her. Furthermore, every time she turned on her phone, her first step was to read text messages from her beloved husband. She never tired of reading them, even though she had no intention of replying to them all.
"Tory, how are you? I hope you still don’t hate me because we haven’t spoken to each other for a few days. I just want you to stay healthy while you search for answers to all the riddles buried in your heart. Don’t forget to get enough rest, eat a lot, and if you miss me, you can contact me. I’m always waiting for you. I really miss your cooking too. By the way, I’ve finished all the food you prepared for me earlier."
Once again, Victoria couldn’t hold back her tears. She hugged her phone tightly as she crouched slowly in the middle of the road. She admitted that she missed her husband terribly right now.
Meanwhile, Matthias had been quietly standing from a distance. He still hadn’t wanted to reveal himself openly, as he didn’t want to ruin his wife’s plans in an instant. Now he wanted to let her go on her adventure alone, while he served only as her secret bodyguard. Seeing his wife cry and say she missed her husband, he also silently said how much he had missed her over the past few days.
Victoria stood up for a moment and then continued her journey somewhere. She still wanted to visit a few more of her favorite places from the past.

Recalling her past two years ago, Victoria’s favorite moment was when Matthias proposed to her. Ever since her memories returned, she’d missed that sweet moment so much. In fact, she’d wanted to propose to Matthias first, even calling Jennifer to discuss it in person. Furthermore, she was a rather rigid woman, so she wasn’t sure how to propose to a perfectionist man.
Victoria invited Jennifer to chat at their favorite cafe. She told Jennifer all her worries, causing Jennifer to burst out laughing.
"So, you called me all the way here just to vent about this problem."
