Chapter 105: Having Fun With Perfectionist CEO
Because Victoria managed to finish her work on time, Matthias had promised to take her out for some fun. She really liked the way Matthias treated her with affection, even though he always abused her about work. She admitted that Matthias deliberately abused her so they could stay together no matter what.
Now Matthias is taking her to a theme park for fun. However, Matthias’s goal isn’t to play; he wants to enjoy the beautiful night sky from the Ferris wheel.
Victoria, on the other hand, didn’t want to ride the Ferris wheel just yet. She preferred to take her husband on the carousel first while waiting for the line to thin out. She knew Matthias had never been on a carousel before, given his perfectionist and arrogant personality. Now she wanted to give him a taste of the fun of riding a carousel at a theme park.
Matthias looked awkward as he tried to mount one of the horses. He was especially surprised to see the children eager to play. His cheeks were flushed, as he wasn’t used to playing with children.
Meanwhile, Victoria laughed at him, waving her hand. "Matthias, don’t tell me you’ve never been on a merry-go-round."
"I’ve never been on a merry-go-round. I’m being honest now."
"I thought you were a CEO as cold as a refrigerator, there’s no way you’d want to play on a kiddie ride. You will hate it."
As the merry-go-round spun around, Victoria waved and smiled brightly at Matthias. "Matthias, this is so much fun!"
Matthias also smiled brightly, gripping Victoria’s hand tightly. "I love playing with you too, it’s so much fun. Of course, I don’t hate it, you’re wrong."
Victoria’s heart skipped a beat as she was met with Matthias’s loving gaze. Although what they were doing now seemed simple, she truly enjoyed playing with him. She hoped they could maintain their friendship like this. She didn’t expect him to like her, as he had such high standards that women in this world had always failed to win her heart.
