Chapter 89: Vacation Again?
Matthias also just remembered that he had to go on another business trip soon. He had been enjoying himself with his wife recently. Should he be separated from her again? For some reason, as their relationship progressed, he felt increasingly selfish. He couldn’t bear to leave her sleeping alone in this luxurious home.
"That’s true. I have to survey projects outside the city every two months from now on." His eyes looked sad as he stared at his wife’s still innocent face. "I wish I could take my wife with me to survey project sites."
Jennifer snapped her fingers. "That’s a great idea, Matthias."
Victoria looked at her husband with a pleading expression. "Is it okay if I accompany you on your project site survey in Yanmang?"
"Since you’re also in charge of designing the interior there, perhaps you could give me some advice."
Sawyer could only shake his head at his friend’s innocent face. "Wouldn’t you rather want to go on another honeymoon with your wife?"
"Not a honeymoon, but a business trip!"
Sawyer and Jennifer laughed so hard their faces turned red.
Jennifer grabbed her best friend’s hand enthusiastically. "You go with Matthias. Louis will handle the studio for now."
Sawyer put his arm around his girlfriend’s shoulders affectionately. "Don’t forget to let us know how your relationship is going."
Matthias smiled mischievously, took out two large paper bags, and handed them to his two friends. "Since you’re both so clever, I’m giving you some Guam souvenirs."
"You really are the best, Matthias! Thank you for the souvenirs. I hope your relationship with Victoria grows even sweeter and more intimate."
