Chapter 65: Lovely Grandpa
Victoria invited her husband to have lunch with the grandfather. Before Matthias met his grandfather openly, Victoria went to the grandfather who was waiting for her arrival in the park. The dining table in the park was already equipped with various food menus from appetizers to desserts. The chairs were provided for three people. Victoria was increasingly impatient to tell this good news to her beloved grandfather.
"Grandpa, I’m coming." Victoria hugged the grandfather warmly.
The grandfather named Charles responded with a happy smile, hugging Victoria as if hugging his own granddaughter. "I missed you so much, Victoria. I’m sorry I couldn’t celebrate your birthday earlier."
"It’s okay. Yesterday I celebrated my birthday with my boyfriend and all my dear friends."
"Actually, I’m curious about the boyfriend you’re referring to. Is it your old boyfriend?"
"No. Now I want to show you my boyfriend." Victoria ran to her husband, then embraced his hand affectionately.
Charles’ reaction was laughing happily looking at the figure of the boyfriend that Victoria brought, his own grandson. Honestly, all this time he had really hoped for their relationship to return to how it was before. However, he felt that his hopes would be dashed because his daughter who was too greedy did not want the relationship. Now he doesn’t need to worry anymore.
"Victoria, so you are dating my grandson."
Matthias smiled mischievously, swinging his wife’s hand happily. "Yes, Victoria is my girlfriend. Do you like her that much, Grandpa?"
"Of course I really liked Victoria since long ago. Moreover, I am relieved to see Victoria is your girlfriend, not another woman."
