Chapter 57: The Best Birthday Gift
Victoria let out a happy cry when she heard her first birthday greeting from her own husband exactly at twelve at night. When her husband said it, the garden lights turned on one by one and the garden fountain moved according to the spotlight. Plus the strains of her favorite romantic music that decorated the beauty of the quiet city park, Victoria guessed that all of this must be her husband’s brilliant idea who always gave her special surprises.
Her eyes sparkled as she gazed at the beauty of the city park that she rarely enjoyed. Unconsciously, her right hand swung her husband’s hand happily.
"Was this all your idea too?"
"Of course. Did you forget that T&H Group also has the authority to develop city parks?"
"Seeing you so sweet today, I like you more and more."
"Thank goodness you don’t hate me today. I was worried that you would hate me even more because you didn’t want to communicate with me today."
"Who said I don’t want to communicate with you today? I’m actually afraid to communicate with you and I’m busy taking care of all the complaints today."
"If you’re afraid, why do you still want to meet me now?"
"Because for some reason I had to meet you after realizing that you truly love me sincerely."
