Chapter 33: The Best Savior
Throughout her life, Victoria was often oppressed by her enemies even though she always looked strong. Behind her confident attitude, she actually couldn’t hold back her sadness. Every time she held it in, her breath became more and more short. For the first time, she was very ashamed of herself. Indirectly, now she was almost stripped naked in front of everyone. Both of her hands continued to hold her dress that had fallen down almost to the point of showing her bra. Her body was almost helpless until her eyes became redder.
However, who would have thought that now there was a savior who saved her swiftly. Her beloved husband immediately jumped off the stage and ran to her. Her eyes sparkled as she stared at her husband’s deft attitude in protecting her, making her feel even more guilty for her hurtful words. Moreover, Matthias protected her not half-heartedly. Her body was now protected by her husband’s suit so that everyone could not see her body openly anymore.
Matthias didn’t care about the new gossip because of his rescue action. He immediately carried his wife’s body confidently while looking at his wife.
"Come on, let’s go home now!"
Victoria still had her head down. "Then, what about the party?"
"Do I still look calm because of the current situation?" He brought his lips closer to his wife’s face. "The party is not important, I care more about you."
"Matthias..."
"I don’t care if everyone is gossiping about us now."
"Are you really serious?"
