Chapter 23: Evil Step Mother
Victoria was fed up every time she read text messages from her stepmother. Actually, she had not communicated with her family for a long time because she really hated her stepfamily who treated her as an outcast for years. Moreover, her stepfamily always used Matthias for their own benefit. Actually, Victoria still had her biological father, but she did not forgive her biological father who married an evil woman so she considered her biological father like a stepfather too.
She was forced to end her discussion with Jennifer before it was further complicated by her stepmother.
"Jennifer, I’m sorry. My stepmother asked me to meet her now."
Jennifer folded her arms. "You’re an adult, but why do you have to obey her?"
"Actually, I don’t want to be controlled by her anymore. But what can I do, I can’t fight her anyway. If I fight her, then I don’t have the right to get the position as president director in my father’s company."
"Your stepmother is still evil! She deliberately approached your father all this time so that your step sister would be the one entitled to the position of president director."
Victoria patted her best friend’s right hand. "We’ll continue our conversation later. Today is going to be the most complicated day of my life."
"If your stepmother and stepsister abuse you again, you must call me. I will teach them a lesson!"
"Don’t worry, the number one thing I did was contact you, not my husband."
