Chapter 14: Horrible Presentation
Victoria tried to stay calm even though her computer was suddenly attacked by a virus. Actually, she was curious about who the perpetrator was who suddenly attacked her. Was Anton the perpetrator? Because yesterday Matthias and she made Anton angry after playing tennis. Now Anton must want revenge after being humiliated.
Matthias wanted to help his wife now, but his wife kept shaking her head slowly, signaling that she had the right not to interfere in this matter. Because if Matthias interfered, then it could be concluded that Matthias and Victoria’s relationship was not just friends.
"Victoria," Matthias whispered.
Hearing everyone protesting at her, Victoria still showed a relaxed smile. Because she had already saved a backup idea in case a disaster like this happened.
"I apologize in advance for disrupting this important meeting. Although my laptop was attacked by a virus, I still want to show you my actual design results." Victoria bowed her head to her assistant to display her proposal using her assistant’s laptop.
Now everyone was amazed to see Victoria’s design that looked perfect and elegant. Among all the people, Matthias was the happiest to see it. Because Matthias was worried that his wife would feel down after facing the complicated situation earlier.
’I am so proud of you, my wife. You have really changed now.’
After Victoria presented her proposal, everyone applauded, including Matthias who clapped and gave two thumbs up. For the first time, Victoria received sincere and enthusiastic praise from everyone. Especially when she saw her husband’s very sincere eyes, her heart began to melt.
Matthias got up from his chair and walked over to his wife who was still standing behind the rostrum. Now he tried to hold back his attitude as a husband. When it came to work, he had to remain professional.
