Chapter 12: How About The Cooperation?
Matthias didn’t care that the winner of this match was Anton. He only cared about his wife who was injured because she pushed herself too hard to win this match. He quickly ran to his helpless wife on the field, then crouched down while helping to position his wife’s legs straight. He really hated seeing the current situation, at first he hated Anton a little, now he really hated Anton because he indirectly tortured Victoria until she was injured for his selfishness.
"Victoria, calm down. I’m here."
Her head nodded, trying to hold back her tears as the injury she was currently experiencing made her whole body ache.
Matthias hugged his wife’s slender body lovingly while patting her back rhythmically. "Even though you lost, you are still the winner for me. You don’t have to be afraid anymore. I won’t hand you over to that bastard."
"So, what about cooperation?"
"Of course, I will end it all right now. After he tortured you for his selfishness, I will not cooperate with him. Whether the proposal he gave me is perfect or not."
Matthias did not just talk carelessly. For a moment he let his wife sit on the field alone, then he walked to the other side of the field to approach the perpetrator who made his wife miserable. If he had not maintained a professional and perfectionist attitude, he would not hesitate to beat his greatest enemy to the ground.
"Are you satisfied to see Victoria finally lose because you used cheating methods?"
Anton laughed lightly and put his hands on his hips. "I didn’t cheat. It’s just that she’s not good at tennis."
