Chapter 9: Disapproved Relationship
Matthias was furious looking at all the sheets of photos scattered on the table showing moments together with his wife. His every move had always been watched by his mother, no wonder he was not free to do anything outside the house. Now that his relationship with his wife was back to how it was before, would his mother still not approve of their relationship anymore?
"Mom, what does all this mean?!"
The mother slammed the table with a glare. "You are truly blinded by your wife’s love! Ever since you had a relationship with her, you haven’t been able to think straight. Don’t you realize she is your enemy’s daughter?!"
"I did notice that."
"Then? What are you going to do now?"
"Even though mother doesn’t approve of our relationship, grandfather still likes Victoria."
The mother laughed sarcastically while holding the glass cup tremblingly. "I will talk to your grandfather properly. I should have realized it from the start so that you would not have fallen in love with Victoria."
"I still love her."
"Are you crazy?!"
