Chapter 287: Trust And Love
"Hannah, you should trust Sawyer. He won’t lie just because he didn’t want to attend Harvey’s wedding," Martha said, concerned about her grandson looking gloomy.
Hannah was taken aback by Martha’s words and immediately felt terrible for questioning her son.
"I’m sorry, my son. I didn’t mean to doubt you, dear. However, I find it hard to ignore how sincere Serena and Harvey are when they answer the reporter. I would believe them immediately if you hadn’t told us about last night," she admitted.
Sophie nodded in agreement with Hannah.
"I can’t believe Serena could lie like that. How could she do something so deceitful? I think I need to warn James about her granddaughter..." Sophie expressed her concern.
"Sawyer, is it really okay for news about you and your mother to circulate like this? Could you ask someone to remove all of it?" Abigail asked.
Abigail initially thought she would enjoy watching the news about how Harvey met his doom on his wedding day, but it seems she was mistaken. Instead, negative news about her husband and mother-in-law began trending again.
"Yes, Sawyer. You need to take action," Martha expressed her concern. She couldn’t bear to see them slandering Hannah and Sawyer once more.
Sawyer remained silent, smiling and nodding at them.
He had already predicted what was happening outside because he had orchestrated the circulation of the news online. Ethan and his team had ensured that netizens would praise Serena and Harvey before they began releasing the truth to the public.
