Chapter 258: Grandfather Decision!
Not long after, Allen, Walter Jones’s butler, entered the room with a tense expression. He leaned closer and whispered to him. In just a few seconds, Walter’s calm demeanor slowly changed to one of darkness.
"What’s wrong, Walter? Is something bothering you?" Nathaniel asked, concerned, as he noticed his son looking distressed.
Walter didn’t answer his father directly but glanced at Harvey angrily. It was hard for him to believe what he had heard from Allen.
"Harvey Jones! Did you hear about the news out there? Explain to me what the hell happened!?" Walter was really pissed off. If the news was trustworthy, the company could be in trouble.
"News? What news?" Harvey Jones was taken aback by his father’s words. Without waiting for a reply, he pulled out his cell phone from his pants pocket.
It didn’t take long for Harvey to understand which news his father was referring to. He was shocked. Staring at the news he had tried to suppress over the past few days, he realized it was still there—and it was trending on all platforms.
’Damn it! How could they be so foolish? How could they allow this one article to be online? And let my dad find out about it!’ Harvey couldn’t help but curse his hacker. He tried to think quickly about how to fix this.
"Harvey! Can you tell me if the news out there is true?" Walter asked again, noticing his son in a trance as he stared at his cell phone. Just by looking at his expression, Walter’s heart tightened; the news was trustworthy.
"What’s going on?" Nathaniel panicked even more. "Why didn’t you all tell me? Walter? Harvey?"
