Chapter 232: His Punishment
In the Beach House villa,
Abigail felt relief after talking to Adam Snow as if a heavy weight had been lifted from her shoulders. For the first time, she felt happy after their conversation. Usually, their discussions ended in arguments or left her in tears, too upset to continue.
"Wife, you look so beautiful when you smile like that..." Sawyer’s voice surprised Abigail as he appeared in the doorway. Her smile widened at the sight of him walking towards her.
"What makes you happy?" Sitting beside her, Sawyer took both of her hands and squeezed them gently.
"I called Adam Snow and actually made him angry. This is the first time I feel happy after talking to him." Her eyes sparkled with joy as she met his gaze.
"I’m so glad to hear that, Abby." Sawyer gently brushed her hair and tucked it behind her ear. After briefly pausing, he added, "I want you to know that my people caught Adam Snow’s henchmen red-handed at the nursing house. Do you realize what Adam Snow did today could be considered a criminal act?"
"Yeah, I know."
"Good! So, what do you want to do about Adam Snow and his henchmen?" Sawyer asked. If it were just him, it would be clear that those involved would end up in prison.
Sawyer didn’t want to send Adam Snow to prison without Abigail’s consent, as the man was her biological father.
Feeling her hands clench tighter and her eyes narrowing with anger, he simply smiled. He understood her frustration, so he gave her a moment to think.
After a short pause, Abigail finally replied, "I have nothing more to do with Adam Snow. You can do whatever you need to. I only want to live in peace and hope that man will no longer bother me."
