Chapter 159: The Threat
"Damn it! Who the hell are you?" Ryland shouted, staring at the man in annoyance.
Abigail was stunned to hear Ryland’s angry voice. She turned and saw a man standing between them, his back facing her. Abigail was shocked at what she saw. Though she couldn’t see his face, she recognized his jacket and long hair.
"Vincent!?"
Worried that Vincent might harm and incapacitate Ryland, she raised her hand and gently tapped his back. When he turned to look at her, she smiled and said, "There’s no need to waste energy talking to him, Vincent. Let’s go inside..."
Vincent nodded. He looked at Ryland once again, sending his killing-intent gaze at him. As if he wanted to warn him with his gaze, "Try to move, and you might lose your head!"
However, the shameless Ryland did not respond to his threat. He was too angry to realize that Abigail already had a new man.
’How could she already have a boyfriend? Didn’t she say she only loved me? No way, she cheated on me! What the hell, Abigail?’ Countless questions raced through his mind, filling him with fury as he felt the urge to run after them.
"Abigail Snow! Wait! Stop right there, Abigail!" As he watched them continue walking toward the door, he couldn’t help but curse her under his breath.
Looking at Abigail and the man beside her, ignoring him, Ryland continues, "You are such a faker, Abigail! You cheated on me with another man? And how dare you be angry at me? Wah, I can’t believe you are also bitch, just like your sis—"
Ryland’s voice cut off as the man with shoulder-length hair turned and gripped his jacket tightly. With a sudden burst of strength, he pushed Ryland’s body against the hard wall behind him.
Everything happened so quickly that Ryland didn’t have time to react. His breath caught in his throat as the man’s grip tightened, making it difficult for him to breathe.
