Chapter 803: Beliefs
One day, Tuzi AoFen presented her with a beast egg. To her shock, it turned out to be a dragon egg! Instinctively, she panicked and urged him to return the egg to its nest, fearing the fury of the entire dragon clan.
He reassured her that bringing the unborn dragon home wouldn’t invoke any trouble and that no one would dare come after her. However, she resolutely shook her head, unwilling to be selfish enough to steal a defenseless baby dragon from its rightful parents.
Even if she craved the strength to safeguard those she loved, she refused to inflict harm on others to gain that power. Perhaps it was her sentimental nature, but that was simply who she was
He had previously brought her the Phoenix egg, the Roc egg, and even the Fafnir egg, each of which she had turned down. A sense of dread washed over her as she grappled with a realization, yet she hesitated to voice her thoughts before hearing what he had to say.
Today, he presented her with extinct plants she had never imagined could exist in this age.
"They don’t have a name, but they’re referred to as Hadean Eon Plants. I’m not quite sure just how ancient they are, but they trace back to the Hadean Eon," he stated casually, a relaxed demeanor betraying her astonishment.
"What did you just say?" Her jaw dropped as her hands trembled around the bizarre, otherworldly plants.
The Hadean Eon marked the beginning of Earth’s geologic history, commencing around 4.6 billion years ago and concluding when the first discernible rocks formed roughly 4.031 billion years ago.
During that epoch, the Earth was still coalescing, plagued by hostile conditions characterized by violent volcanic eruptions and intense tectonic activity. There existed no evidence of plant life during this period. The earliest plant fossils emerged approximately 2.7 billion years later, in the Eoarchean era of the Archean Eon.
