Emerging from the confines of the Dahlia Field, where Yao had forcibly dragged her, Shenlian Yingyue initially dismissed her encounter with him as a mere aberration. After all, she was human and he was a demon. Seizing the moment when everyone was distracted by Yao, she made her swift escape.

Yao made no move to intervene. He was acutely aware that their attempts would be in vain, and even if they somehow succeeded, he had no vested interest in the outcome. His sole concern lay in ensuring that she did not disrupt the prince’s ritual.
Deliberately veering away from the area Yao had indicated, where the prince was performing some clandestine rite, Shenlian Yingyue resolved not to let curiosity get the better of her. After all, they say that curiosity kills the cat.
Returning to her allies, she inquired, "How are things looking on your ends?"
"Master, getting our hands on the treasures is proving quite difficult," Xiao Yun noted, positioned at the northern end of the warehouse alongside Xiao Li and Xiao Qiu.
"The security measures are exceedingly tight," Xiao Nian complained, reporting from the western side where she stood with Lu Long and Feng Huang.
"Their abilities are utterly bizarre," added Xiao Lan, flanked by Xie Xie and Xiao Mei to the east of the warehouse.
She nodded in agreement to their assessments but cautioned them to tread carefully.
"We have an Upper Rank Demon guarding the treasury. His power is ’invisibility.’ If Brother Yun hadn’t detected his presence in time, we would have fallen into their trap," Tian Tian chimed in, still hidden behind a massive tree at the southern edge of the warehouse alongside Huan Huan and Zhizhi.
"Invisibility..." she mused.
