Inside the grand hall, only the princess and several important figures were present to welcome Shenlian Yingyue and Huang Bai Xing.
"I’m not sure if these dishes meet your tastes," the princess said. "Today, I want to apologize to everyone here for being rude to you. Please accept our sincere apologies."
With a wave of her hand, two witches appeared, holding two wooden plates with two wooden boxes on them.
"Is this your sincere apology?" Huang Bai Xing leaned back against the soft pillow behind her, asking with a chuckle.
"You!!!" The wiccans and witches had never seen anyone being so rude to them. They had sincerely apologized, but this woman was being rude to their princess.
"Hmm?" Huang Bai Xing raised an eyebrow.
"Look, my people can be a bit reckless. Please don’t mind them; they’re just enthusiastic about my safety." As the princess spoke, she gestured to her people. She seemed to signal that they should stop arguing.
Shenlian Yingyue and Huang Bai Xing didn’t immediately take the wooden boxes offered to them. Instead, they continued to savor the dishes and strange wine brewed by the Witchcraft clan’s members.
"Forgive me for not introducing myself earlier. My name is Wu Ying, and I’m currently in charge of the clan’s affairs here," Wu Ying, the princess, then introduced herself.
