Chapter 209: All Eyes On Frosty (part 2)
They stepped into a private section of the venue, a small space tucked behind a partitioned wall, separating them from the rest of the crowd.
Most of the SilverBlade Legion members were already seated behind their glowing monitors. They adjusted their chairs, clicked their mice, and pulled on headsets one by one.
Micah and Darcy stood off to the side, still near the centre of the section.
Micah sighed in relief. At least here, if he played, people would only recognise his account and not his face. And honestly, he didn’t care about cleaning up that forum post anymore. Let them say whatever they wanted. The only thing that mattered now was finding out more about Archie’s teammates. If he was going to sneak into their team using a girl’s account, he needed to know the terrain.
And the bonus was that Darcy had promised he would beat Archie in the match. Just thinking about it gave him little comfort. He glanced at Darcy beside him and smirked faintly. He was waiting for that moment.
Micah felt a bit stuffy, so he lifted his hands. He tugged down his mask and pulled off his cap in one motion, silver hair falling over his forehead like snow sliding off a roof.
There was a gasp in the room. Micah blinked and glanced around, catching the wide-eyed stare aimed at him. He frowned. "What?"
Zian jumped up from his chair like a spring. "Whoa, you are that support, right? You actually have silver hair," he said, grinning as he reached out and patted Micah’s shoulder. "No wonder they call you Frosty... it fits."
Micah’s forehead jerked upward. Wait... Did that mean not everyone knew yet? He turned a sharp look toward Archie. Hadn’t he told them who he really was? That he was that FrostbiteAshe?
"Zian, go back to your seat." Archie barked.
Zian flinched and ran to his chair like a scolded child.
