Chapter 186: Mission: Clear Micah’s Name (And Maybe K.O. Archie’s plan?)
Inside Room 306, Micah shifted his weight from one foot to the other, while Darcy lingered near the door, hands in his pockets.
Then, Micah rubbed his stomach and let out a groan. "Man, I’m hungry again. I don’t know where all that food from earlier went."
He lazily pointed at the Royal Dragon Pavilion bag sitting on the desk. The containers were all empty, stacked neatly. "Before the game, I ate everything in there. What about you? Have you had dinner yet? Wanna go out for something light?"
Darcy’s eyes landed on the bag, and his brows twitched slightly. The logo printed on it caught his eye, and a flicker of recognition passed his face. The same high-end restaurant. The same place that the blond man ordered from before. Did he send Micah food again? Had they met each other at the gate like before? Or Micah had gone out with him?
"I’m hungry too," Darcy replied flatly, though his voice held a trace of coolness.
Micah grinned. "Great. Let’s go, just the two of us. Before Nick shows up and clings to us again." He grabbed his phone from the desk and tapped the screen to check the time.
Darcy gave a short nod and followed him out of the dorm. Their footsteps were lost in the crowded hallway.
"Where were you earlier?" Darcy asked as they reached the stairwell. "I didn’t see you at lunch in the cafeteria."
"Yeah. Group project." Micah made a face, dragging a hand over his neck. He remembered Clyde’s jealousy over that woman. "Not a pleasant experience at all," he said, his tone sour.
