Chapter 156: How to Accidentally Melt an Ice Cube (Clyde Edition)
After breakfast, Micah stood up from the table and looked down at himself. The oversized hoodie drooped past his hips and sweatpants bunched around his ankles like he had borrowed clothes from a giant. He picked at the hoodie sleeve tugging it lightly. "I can’t go out wearing these..." he muttered, frowning.
Clyde shot him a look and said, "Don’t worry. I know how much you care about your looks. My assistant bought some clothes in your size."
Micah scratched the back of his head, embarrassed a bit, being see-through by Clyde. He sighed inwardly. Clyde probably thought of him as a shallow superficial person...
He bit his lip and looked away. "Thanks."
"I put them in the walk-in closet," Clyde added, standing up and taking their empty bowls to the sink.
Micah nodded quickly and got out of the kitchen. He followed the hallway Clyde had pointed toward and found the door. When he opened it, his eyes widened in surprise.
The walk-in closet was huge.
Floor-to-ceiling shelves lined the walls, packed neatly with business suits, shirts, jackets, coats, leather belts, and more shoes than Micah could count. On the far wall, a tall mirror stool with soft lighting glowed around its edges. A display rack held watches, sunglasses, and simple but tasteful accessories. The space looked like it came straight out of a luxury magazine.
"Damn..." Micah whispered, stepping inside slowly. He looked around, trying not to drool.
Then his eyes landed on a clean stack of clothes clearly set aside for him. He reached out and picked up the top piece. A pale cream-coloured, preppy-style casual sweater with basic long-sleeve and slightly loose knitwear. He flipped it to check the tag and nearly dropped it.
"Georgina?!" he yelped.
