Chapter 26: Operation: Expose The King!
After the doctor left, Jacob and Elina immediately turned to Micah, their gazes sharp with concern and frustration.
"Son, what happened?"
Jacob asked gently, studying Micah’s expression.
Elina, on the other hand, was less composed.
"You need to explain!"
However, Micah remained silent, averting his eyes. He could feel their probing gazes fixed on him, yet no matter how much they pushed, he refused to say a word.
Elina’s frustration was near eruption. Her lips pressed into thin line and her grip on the armrest of the couch tightened.
"Fine!" she spat, standing up abruptly.
"If you won’t talk, then I gave nothing to say to you either!"
Her heels clicked sharply against the floor as she stormed toward her room.
"I won’t speak to you again!"
