When Levin nervously entered the room and stood just in front of Spade’s table after respectfully greeting him, neither of them spoke after that for a moment.
Spade was only sitting calmly on his seat while he was sitting on it leisurely, at least on the surface.
After pondering for a moment, he also realized how harsh he was toward Levin. He would never be indifferent to his cousin, someone he trusted with his back.
However, his rage wasn’t unfounded either. He was far consumed with his anger, and it so happened that Levin was there, and Spad had bent his anger on him.
"You’re here." Spade raised his head and looked at Levin.
Levin lowered his gaze and nodded.
"Yes... Y-Your Majesty."
Observing the alpha, Spade also knew that the guilt that was also tormenting him was being experienced by the other, if not more intense.
Spade sighed and clasped his hand, staring deeply at Levin, who had never once met his eyes.
