Chapter 293: Start Of Change (3)
The seemingly peaceful city hid the chaos within. Unlike Arren’s situation, his disappearance did cause the organization’s side to be surprised and even more bewildered.
Just how could Arren leave? After they saw the passage that he used, they became suspicious of themselves. Was there a traitor who helped Arren escape? Otherwise, how could Arren have managed to know that passage?
Either way, the Marquis’ expression sank at its lowest point, giving shivers to his subordinates. Soon, organization forces began to be deployed in the city.
The two forces were destined to clash in this very city.
However, that was not the most important thing at this moment.
Arren really just stayed inside the house while he was looking at Auntie Mildred’s phone, waiting for the alpha to contact him. Although the last time they talked was hours ago, Arren had the inkling that the alpha was already on his way to meet him.
Other than being excited, he admitted that he was also nervous. Just how would he react when he finally faced Spade after his memories returned? Also, his disappearance might have given the alpha a bigger blow this time around.
One thing he was sure of, Arren would hug his alpha so tight to the point that both of them could almost not breathe anymore. He would also tell Spade everything.
This time, he didn’t care about secrets anymore. He wanted to let out all his emotions and share the memories that he had with his alpha.
When it was night after they ate dinner, Arren had already told Auntie Mildred that someone would come to fetch him. He didn’t explicitly say who it was, but Auntie Mildred obviously understood just who he was talking about.
"Auntie Mildred, it’s best if... The kids are already asleep by then." Arren had raised this concern.
