The Emperor's Omega Is An Extra

Chapter 230: Wins and Losses (3)

Did you have to go this far? Seething with anger, the veins in Spade’s arms surfaced, and he almost shattered the armrest.

All he wanted to do was scream and vent his anger, as at any moment he might go to the frontlines himself, but he hated that he couldn’t because of his identity. Spade also couldn’t be overcome by his anger, so he had to suppress it.

Damn it! He gripped his hand as though itching to strangle the Marquis’ neck and shut his eyes firmly. He tried to calm down and exhaled deeply, but he was still furious deep within that Spade would surely lose it sooner.

"Send forces immediately to the establishments where a fight broke out and make sure you all saved the civilians." Spade’s head leaned on his hand that was resting on the armrest, opening his eyes which were glimmering with dangerous shade, he continued. "And kill all the instigators."

If the Marquis could casually create chaos while also not giving him any face, then Spade would not show any mercy either.

Then I guess it’s my fault for thinking a lunatic is aware of war ethics, huh? Spade mocked himself, blaming the fact that he was still following the rules set by him.

He then lifted his head, gazing at the monitor that was playing the situation in one of the exits. Spade’s eyes flickered with menacing light, burning with madness.

If only Spade could stop thinking in his rational mind as an Emperor, he could just order all his forces to barricade the gates and make sure that the Marquis couldn’t leave the capital alive. However, no matter how much he wanted that, he was aware that if he did order that, the dead count this night would only increase and might escalate into a full war.

It seemed that was his disadvantage, which the Marquis could exploit. Spade had strong forces, yes. But he was also tied down by his responsibility and his people, unlike the Marquis, who could create chaos without thinking of anyone but his own wicked goals.

Still, there was no way he would let the Marquis get away unscathed; he had to pay the blood debt for his people eventually. Spade would make sure of it.

"Call in the forces outside; once the Marquis leaves the capital’s vicinity, intercept them as much as they can."
