Chapter 188: Taking Care
Spade could also be stubborn sometimes if he wanted to. Even if it was Arren, he couldn’t convince him no matter what. And in most cases, it was something like this: he persisted in being with Arren instead.
"But Spade, your fever is so high!" Arren had had his fair share of bad experiences with high fevers before, so he was quite scared of it. And even more so now that it was his boyfriend who had a fever!
"It’s fine, I won’t die because of it." Amidst the serious atmosphere and the headache he was feeling, Spade dared to really joke and laugh it off!
Immediately, Arren had become pissed, as he couldn’t help but hit Spade’s arm weakly. He glared at him, clenching his teeth from the emotions that flowed out of him.
"Stop talking like that! Spade, do you really want me to become mad at you?" Arren’s head also began to throb because of worry, so instead of talking to the alpha who was not taking his condition seriously when he was already worried sick because of him, he decided to just go with two options.
He pursed his lips and found Spade’s phone, which was in the pocket of his suit, and contacted the number he saw. There were a lot of names there, and he just went for the intelligence department. No matter what, he only wanted to let them know and seek an imperial doctor.
His plan was that once the imperial doctor was there and examined Spade’s condition if he suggested that the alpha be hospitalized, he would do it even if he dragged Spade to the hospital!
Arren held Spade’s hand as he watched him while talking on the phone.
"Yes, he’s in our mansion. Please, can an imperial doctor rush here immediately? Okay, I’ll wait for you. I’ll tell the royal guards outside to coordinate with you." He nodded and chewed on his lips, furrowing his brows. "And also, if necessary, prepare the hospital room and security if it’s necessary for Spade to be hospitalized. And... make sure no one else knows about this matter. Other than those people involved, keep it a secret, understand?" He finished with an oppressive and authoritative tone.
