Chapter 124: Cooking and Flirting
It was a two-story villa, and it was spacious enough, with ten rooms in total, both downstairs and on the second floor. Arren didn’t bother exploring when they arrived, he only put down the bag he was holding and ran outside to look at the emerald sea.
However, looking for the kitchen was still easy for him. The villa was in extreme silence aside from his footsteps, as only the two of them were staying in it.
Spade probably took care of something, and Arren didn’t hear the alpha following inside. Perhaps, giving instructions to the royal guards with them.
He strode through the kitchen and immediately immersed himself in what he was doing, while his mind sometimes wandered and recalled the past two weeks.
They decided to take a vacation, but it took them two weeks before they finally prepared and left the capital. Arren already expected it. After all, planning was one thing, but actually going along with it was another.
Both of them were not normal people who could travel as they pleased if they wanted. Spade was the Emperor, and there were a lot of things he had to settle first. Their itinerary was a secret that only a handful of people knew.
On this trip, they only brought six royal guards with them. Rave and Levin were also accompanying them. Arren wanted Rave to come while Levin was the chief royal guard, and for some reason, he had the feeling it was also an unknown test for him by Spade.
Anyway, he wasn’t privy to the details, and he would just let Spade decide for his own people. For now, Arren wasn’t really opposed to Levin, at least, he still wanted to trust him.
He shook his head, removing these unnecessary thoughts for now, and hummed while concentrating on cooking. Arren wouldn’t claim that he was an expert, but at least his dishes tasted good and were edible. That was all that mattered, wasn’t it?
