Chapter 59: Amos (2)
Spade had already begun preparing for their hospital visit after they had finished eating. He said that they shouldn’t prolong it any longer. Arren could only agree; he also didn’t want his injury to be worse than it already was.
Then they silently slipped from the palace and went to the private appointment that Spade had already made. They didn’t need to waste time, and Arren immediately went through a lot of tests on his foot and some treatment.
He was given pain relievers and medicine, as well as instructions to rest his foot. His injury wasn’t so serious that it needed surgery, but the recovery time was still long; he still had to wait for five weeks before he could walk normally again.
And Arren could only cry. He was back to being an otaku once more. He only enjoyed his one week of being outdoors, and because of his injury, it was best to recover at home. Both his father and Spade were adamant about this decision, as if they had already agreed beforehand.
They ran into his father, who was already waiting for them at the hospital; Arren was not surprised to see his father. The Duke also stayed all throughout, and sometimes he and Spade would have a conversation at the side.
Arren didn’t bother himself with them; he couldn’t understand anything anyway.
So, after all, that was done, and they went back to the palace. He also thought he would go back to the Katz Mansion, but it looked like Spade had already asked his dad’s permission.
He didn’t have much of an objection either; he also wanted to spend more time with his alpha by this point. His whole afternoon was quite eventful, and his evening would be even longer than that.
Arren sat on the couch, his right leg resting on a cushion in front of him. The swelling was also reduced significantly from last night.
"Do you want tea, Young Master Arren?" A graceful and calm voice rang as Arren raised his gaze and immediately met the eyes of the white-haired omega.
Without saying anything, he only smiled and nodded at Rave. While Rave was graciously pouring tea for him, he observed the other. Arren truly finds it astonishing how the omega could still keep calm in a situation like this.
