Chapter 1609 - 1661: My Youthful Spirit Awakens
After kisses and more kisses, Chu Xiaoyao, panting, once again lay against Li Yifei’s chest. This time her little face was tilted, and her breath, fragrant as orchids, was wafting against Li Yifei’s neck, sending shivers through his body. After a moment, Li Yifei raised his hand and gave Chu Xiaoyao a spank on the butt. The little girl whimpered and opened her mouth to bite Li Yifei’s neck.
She wasn’t really biting hard, more like just holding on. Indeed, it was more like a mischievous little sucking, as if that place was a pacifier, with her little tongue rubbing and teasing over it.
Li Yifei gave her another light spank, not really wanting to hurt her, yet it still made Chu Xiaoyao’s body tremble. She let go, looking up at him with a pitiful expression, her big eyes pleading, as if to ask why he had to hit her so hard.
After the spank, Li Yifei placed his hand back, kneading it a few times, muttering, "Stop teasing me. I can’t take it anymore. To see, to touch, to kiss, to embrace, and yet not being able to go further is really hard for me."
Chu Xiaoyao let out a giggle and stopped, satisfied. But then she wiggled her little butt and settled back down again, aligning perfectly. She gave Li Yifei a coquettish glance and said, "Hubby, I’m in a bad mood today, could you indulge me a bit?"
"Haven’t I been indulging you all this time?" Li Yifei replied.
"Yup, you’ve been indulging me all along!" Chu Xiaoyao repeated, "It’s so nice."
After a quiet moment, Chu Xiaoyao suddenly frowned and said pitifully to Li Yifei, "Hubby, my aunt is coming soon, and I’m feeling really uncomfortable. Can you help me feel better?"
"I... can’t do that. Although the Worm has weakened recently, if we overdo it, it will still have a strong reaction!" Li Yifei said with a troubled expression. This Worm was more effective than any chastity lock in the world, once planted, it truly prevented any possibility of infidelity.
Chu Xiaoyao blinked innocently and said, "Hubby, I just want you to help massage me and unblock my circulation. How did it get to the topic of Worm? I wasn’t thinking of doing that kind of thing."
Uh... Li Yifei rolled his eyes, realizing he’d been tricked by Chu Xiaoyao. But he didn’t retaliate. Instead, he took Chu Xiaoyao’s little hand, holding it with his bigger one, as True Qi flowed from his body into hers.
From a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, recently Chu Xiaoyao’s body was cold and her spleen and stomach weren’t well. When Li Yifei’s yang energy entered her body and circulated once, Chu Xiaoyao’s body trembled slightly, her teeth clenched, and fine beads of sweat appeared on her nose and forehead.
After the True Qi flowed through her body a few times, Chu Xiaoyao did indeed feel very comfortable, lazily snuggling in Li Yifei’s arms. She was in a daze, and since Li Yifei came over, he hadn’t asked her what had happened. Chu Xiaoyao wasn’t intentionally hiding it, but the matter really upset her and left her feeling bad.
After a moment of silence, Chu Xiaoyao suddenly asked, "Hubby, how come you’re free today?"
Li Yifei replied, "Me? Hmm, I came home to handle some things for your Sister Xinyue. With Shanshan at the hospital taking care of things, I don’t have anything to do until I go relieve her tonight."
Chu Xiaoyao’s eyes twinkled as she said, "So that means, hubby, you don’t have anything to do now?"
Li Yifei chuckled, "You could say that, but it’s not entirely true. If I look, I can always find something to do."
Chu Xiaoyao sat up from Li Yifei’s arms, pulling his hand, and said eagerly, "Hubby, then let’s go do something fun!"
"Is there... anything more fun than that?" Li Yifei asked Chu Xiaoyao, giving her a sideways glance.
Chu Xiaoyao covered her mouth and giggled, "If hubby were in good health, then I’d let you do whatever you want today. But...since you’re not, we’ve got to find something else interesting to do."
"Oh, alright, whatever you say," Li Yifei nodded.
Chu Xiaoyao stood up, reached her little hand to pull him upstairs. Once on the second floor, they went to Chu Xiaoyao’s bedroom. Li Yifei finally understood why this little girl was always lugging around a bunch of stuff when he saw her. She had been DIY-ing her bedroom at home; it was already half remodeled, in a very modern style. Li Yifei admired it for a while, nodding, and said, "Not bad at all, did you do all this yourself?"
"Of course! I want my room to be equipped with modern devices, controlled entirely by a cell phone. Before I even get home, I can have most things done!" Chu Xiaoyao proudly raised her little face.
Li Yifei gave a thumbs-up in praise, "Not bad, your hubby supports you. Just say what you need, and I’ll get everything except the stars in the sky."
Chu Xiaoyao giggled and said, "I’m not that demanding, but I do have a request now."
"Go ahead."
Chu Xiaoyao pushed Li Yifei into a computer chair and said, "Anyway, you’re free. Can you play some games with me?"
"Games?" Li Yifei turned to look at the computer and just now noticed Chu Xiaoyao’s bedroom actually had two computer desks with two computers, along with several laptops stacked nearby.
Chu Xiaoyao looked at Li Yifei, nodded seriously, and said, "Yeah, games. Play with me, okay?"
"But... I don’t really know how to. I played CS and Dota 3C before, but only occasionally, and that was years ago." Li Yifei grinned and said.
Chu Xiaoyao’s eyes widened in surprise as she said, "Hubby, you played those games?"
"I had a childhood too, you know! But then I joined the army, and with all the training every day, I just got busier and didn’t have time to play these things anymore." Li Yifei said, half laughing, half crying.
Even though he’s a bit older now, he did have a childhood. Back then, computers might have been bulky, but it didn’t dampen his enthusiasm for games.
Chu Xiaoyao giggled, shaking Li Yifei’s big hand, and said even more happily, "That’s even better. Hubby, just take some time to play with me for a bit."
"Alright!" Li Yifei couldn’t resist the little girl’s mood and nodded in agreement.
Chu Xiaoyao happily turned on the computer. These two computers had cost her quite a bit of money. She bought all sorts of parts, assembled them, and put in a lot of effort. Needless to say, their performance was top-notch. After booting up, Li Yifei noticed the desktop picture on the computer he was sitting at was of him, while the one on Chu Xiaoyao’s pink computer was of her. In the photo, Li Yifei was holding a red rose, kneeling on one knee, and Chu Xiaoyao was standing with her hands on her hips in a white strapless dress, looking down at him with a slightly surprised expression.
Even though there were two computers, they formed a single image. Li Yifei couldn’t recall when he’d ever taken such a photo.
Seeing him furrow his brows, Chu Xiaoyao proactively explained, "I made a composite photo..."
"Oh, oh, when we have time, I’ll take some with you," Li Yifei said.
Chu Xiaoyao widened her eyes and asked, "Really?"
"Of course. If we’re free tomorrow, let’s go take some photos," Li Yifei smiled.
Chu Xiaoyao nodded repeatedly, with a continuous "mm-hmm" from her mouth. Li Yifei flicked her forehead and said, "Alright, what do you want to play? Tell me. Today, I’ll risk everything to accompany a gentleman."
"You don’t need to risk your life, just play with me for a bit. Usually, I play by myself," Chu Xiaoyao said.
With a single sentence, Li Yifei sighed inwardly. It was said that he didn’t casually mess with women outside anymore, not just for physical reasons. Another reason was that there were already plenty of women at home, and he couldn’t possibly manage them all. Like Chu Xiaoyao, she wasn’t busy with a career like other women. The little girl was still playful, wanting to play more, but he couldn’t accompany her, so most of the time, she was alone. Although the women at home took good care of her, no one could really keep her company in her playful antics. Among the women of similar age, each had heavier thoughts and were mature, but Chu Xiaoyao remained that pure little girl.
Following Chu Xiaoyao’s instructions, Li Yifei logged into the game using Chu Xiaoyao’s phone. It was a game called ’LoL’. Although Li Yifei hadn’t been into games much lately, he actually knew about this one, a MOBA game, a PVP real-time strategy game where people compete against each other.
Chu Xiaoyao logged in as well, created a player-versus-bot room, and invited Li Yifei. Their names were quite distinctive: Li Yifei’s account name was "Little Yao," while Chu Xiaoyao’s was "Bad Uncle," clearly couple names.
Li Yifei shook his head with a smile, tilting it to look at Chu Xiaoyao. She stuck her tongue out at him and said, "Let’s first create a player-versus-bot room, play a couple of games with the computer, and then I’ll lead you... show off while carrying you!"
Li Yifei raised his hand, and Chu Xiaoyao dodged to the other side, laughing playfully.
"Don’t rush to start just yet; let me get the hang of it," Li Yifei said as he manipulated the computer under Chu Xiaoyao’s guidance to familiarize himself with the heroes. This was a game Li Yifei had never played, though his learning ability was definitely top-notch.
Of the five roles—Top, Mid, Jungle, Bot support, and ADC—Li Yifei immediately chose Support, which fit perfectly with Chu Xiaoyao’s preference. But according to the little girl, it didn’t matter if Li Yifei was a noob; she could take on five opponents all by herself as a goddess.
Among the Supports, Li Yifei focused on two champions, both tanky and resilient, while Chu Xiaoyao picked Jinx, a new champion. The two of them entered the game simultaneously, and Chu Xiaoyao instructed Li Yifei on what to buy first as he left the base, where to place wards in the field, and the possible invasion routes of the enemy.
