The Tin Knight

Chapter 68: The Tin Knight and The City of Clockwork — Act 4 (2)

Originally, making a story engaging was more difficult than one might think.

Even with the same plot, the same characters, and the same dialogue, the atmosphere could vary depending on how it was told.

In that sense, Sophia was an excellent storyteller.

Her skillful handling of eye contact, her change in tone according to the situation, and even the skill to appropriately keep people on edge.

The adventurers focused on her story, being careful even with their coughing sounds, as the scenery seemed to unfold right before their eyes the more they listened.

“—That’s all.”

Only after Sophia finished her long tale with a gentle sigh did they start moving, as if a petrification spell had been lifted.

“So, you’re saying they’re trying to frame innocent people to swallow up the treasures from the labyrinth, is that it?”

“And they even went as far as killing their own adventurers for that? Have you ever seen such bastards!?”

“Those Schwartz branch guys, I knew their reputation was bad, but I didn’t know they were this rotten!”

Sophia’s story was shocking.
