Chapter 56
I visited <Johannes Castle> again around 9 PM for the courage test.
The four-story castle, with its back to the dark mountain behind, looked so simple and desolate that it was embarrassing to even call it a castle.
When I entered the classroom, I saw my classmates gathered in groups of three or four, gossiping.
Surprisingly, Dante was still sleeping on his desk.
It was dark outside the window. It was 9 PM, so that was understandable.
‘Is Erica doing well?’
I haven’t seen Erica’s face yet because she was busy after school.
I should tell her that I’ll be home late because of the courage test.
Suddenly, I became really worried.
I brought the blessed cross necklace that Father Cesario had given me, but I was still anxious.
In this dark place at night, it seemed like ghost stories would be more likely to occur.
But even though it was a tradition, if I were the only one left, I was worried about my relationship with my classmates who had barely recovered.
