Henry shrugged and answered.
“No. Transfer students are famous these days. They got perfect scores on the transfer exam, and they have a sister named Toravin, and they’re incredibly pretty, so it’s understandable that everyone would be interested.”
Reasons why students would be interested in Melody. Noah agreed with the reasons Henry gave.
Above all, the school atmosphere that had been chaotic with ghost stories and stories since last semester seemed to have been reversed because of Melody.
The students needed something else to focus on.
“Plus, it seems like you and I have a personal relationship, so everyone will be watching.”
Noah let out a troubled breath at Henry’s addition.
“We’re not particularly close. We often met because we needed each other.”
“We’re particularly close!”
Noah shook his head at Henry’s words, fixed his belt, and looked out the window.
The cricket match was still in progress, and Melody, who could be seen from afar, was still playing hard.
