Chapter 18
When I turned around, Erica's face was contorting, struggling to hold back her laughter.
Not only that, but the girls around us were all turning their heads. They were shaking with suppressed giggles.
"Got her good."
After finally swallowing her laughter, Erica spoke.
I could see the face of Sutherland’s young lady gradually turning as red as a tomato.
Just then, a voice was heard from the entrance of the lobby.
"Lady Sutherland! The items you requested have been purchased in the village!"
A girl in the same uniform as ours entered the dormitory lobby, carrying a mountain of items taller than her own height, walking precariously without dropping them.
‘She’s going to trip over at this rate.’
It looked dangerous. Right in front of Erica was a massive statue of Sister Gloria.
The girl, unable to see over her large load, was heading straight toward the statue and Erica.
I quickly stood in front of Erica and pulled her into my arms.
