Koi yelped in shock. But Ashley didn’t seem fazed at all and continued calmly,
“You said we should hurry up and shower so we can leave. So let’s do that.”
“Y-yeah, I mean, that’s true, but—”
Koi stammered, flustered. The shock of the moment had completely wiped any trace of elephants and anacondas from his mind. Right now, the scariest thing in the world was Ashley standing in front of him with a bar of soap.
“There’s—there’s other stalls, though...”
He managed to say at last. Ashley frowned. Koi immediately sensed danger. Then Ashley sighed and spoke.
“Koi, did you forget that we agreed to shower together?”
“Huh?”
Koi blinked, then suddenly jumped and shook his head furiously.
