Chapter 204: Champion Vs Salim
Reymond seemed to hear us calling his name. He raised his finger to his mask, signaling us to keep quiet. But wait a minute. Did no one else know who was behind that mask? It was so obvious.
But thinking back, only Bob, Linus, and I had fought alongside him in Daisy Town. Maybe that was why no one else here knew the true identity of the Champion.
"During our last fight, it was a draw. Today, I will make sure I win this match, even if it is just an exhibition," Reymond said as he faced Salim.
"Hahaha. Last time, I barely used my full strength. If you insist on going all out, then I have no choice but to comply. I just hope this arena is strong enough to withstand my power," Salim said with a smile. He already knew the identity of the Champion.
And he knew well how strong the prince was. Fighting him half heartedly would only put someone under pressure due to his aggressive style of attacks.

Salim stomped his foot forward onto the ground as he entered his stance. With just that, a soft rumbling like a mini earthquake spread throughout the colosseum.
Reymond immediately jumped up and thrust his spear forward. The movement was so fast that in a single second, he moved from his position to right in front of Salim in one motion.
However, the craziest part was that Salim met the spear with just his fist. I swear I saw Reymond's spear bending wildly as it clashed with Salim. That single impact alone created a wave that spread outward like a gust of wind.

"That is crazy!" Bob shouted, clearly excited as he watched the scene unfold in front of him.
I was excited too. This was the first time I saw a battle between high level individuals. Maybe I could learn one or two things by watching their fight and implement them in my own battles.
Salim released a punch forward. Reymond barely managed to evade it by thrusting his spear into the ground, using it like a pole to swing his body. He then followed with a full swing and launched both his feet toward Salim. Salim was not fast enough to evade and took the hit directly to his chest.
However, Salim did not seem hurt by that attack.
"Is that all you can do, Champion? I don't feel anything," Salim smiled at Reymond.
"It is just a warm up, Salim. The next one will be the real one," Reymond smirked behind his mask.
And for the next several minutes, fierce clashes were happening in the middle of the colosseum. All jaws dropped as they watched the intense battle.
Salim was all about defense and sturdiness. He made up for his slowness by focusing on strength. Each of his attacks was powerful and concentrated. Reymond, meanwhile, was the opposite. He was swift and aggressive. Each of his attacks was precise and accurate. At the same time, he was agile enough to evade all incoming attacks.
"Who the hell is that guy? He looks so hard to break down, just like a boulder!" Bob said.
"He is the master of all the guilds, or you can say the one who governs all guild relations. He is considered the strongest in the kingdom. They say he has never lost a fight since he became the master," Evelyn explained.
"It seems the battle has been dragged too long. Let's finish it with the next attack," Salim said.
"Yes. I already planned to. Prepare yourself."
Once Reymond finished speaking, a burst of reddish aura spread from his body. At the same time, a green aura burst forth from Salim. The battle was finally entering its climax.

Reymond lifted his spear upward, unleashing a powerful pillar of red aura into the sky, while Salim planted both his feet on the ground, causing cracks to spread across the entire arena.

Reymond and Salim clashed, and sparks filled the entire colosseum and its surroundings. From outside, two massive pillars of red and green collided in the sky. All eyes in the city were drawn to the phenomenon.
Inside the colosseum, the crowd slowly opened their eyes and looked toward the arena, which was completely destroyed. Smoke and dust covered the area, before finally revealing two figures at the center. They remained in position, facing each other, their eyes locked.
Then each of them stepped back and bowed to each other, signaling that they would stop here.
The arena fell silent for a moment before the commentator spoke.

Salim and Reymond waved their hands to the crowd before they retreated.

I was sitting on my lap, controlling my breathing, trying to relieve my anxiety, when suddenly someone called my name. I turned and saw someone standing beside me.
"Prince Reymond."
